A workshop was conducted at Agrico farm aimed at increasing the awareness of the public about hydroponic system and its applications in food production at home level. The workshop was organized in collaboration with Hadiqaa group. The workshop covered the following:
- Basic principles of hydroponics.
- Benefits.
- Types of hydroponic systems.
- How to start building and install small system and grow plants that grow well in a hydroponic system such as leafy vegetables at home.
- Making and balancing fertilizer.
- Growth Management of plants.
- Tools / Materials / Space requirements,
- light in hydroponics
